Pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC)
/ 'A' Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one
of the languages Should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in
Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology,
Biotechnology, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Science Should have a
valid score in KCET/COMEDK
Admission Details-
- Candidates seeking for Admission in Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore for above Engineering Courses have to appear Common Entrance Test (CET) & COMEDK conducted by Government of Karnataka.
- Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore (AIT) admits 50% of Students on the basis of their rank in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka and 30% of Students through the Undergraduate Entrance Test of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges (COMEDK) of Karnataka. It also admits 20 percent students under a management quota without merit requirements and has admitted about 150 foreigners from 25 countries under "PIO Quota".
- There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can enter directly into the second year of study in engineering. After completing their graduation, students receive a BE degree from the VTU.
