SJBIT Engineering Eligibility 2013

  1. Admission to BE, a minimum of 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the PUC examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is a must. In case of SC/ST candidates, this percentage is fixed at 40%. Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the BE courses. They must hold a valid student VISA.
  2. Admission to M.Tech, course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters / years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semester / years divided by the sum of maximum marks). In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST/Cat -1, marks shall not be less than 45%.
  3. Admission to MBA, course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% (rounding – off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. In the case candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-1, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding –off aggregate percent is not permitted).
  4. The application and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on payment of cash of Rs. 500/- or by sending a DD for the said amount in favor of "The Principal, SJB Institute of Technology, Kengeri, Bangalore South".

BNMIT Engineering Eligibility 2013

For Under Graduate (B.Tech)
  1. Admission for the first year of the course shall be open to the students who have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board. Or 10 + 2 School Programme of the Central Board (CBSE / ICSE) New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical as optional subjects and English as a subject of study Or Those who have passed any other examinations recognized by the University as equivalent there to.
  2. Candidates other than those from karnataka are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
  3. The Eligibility norms are periodically fixed by VTU with all relevant details of Academic Eligibility, Recognised Equivalent Courses for admissions to UG Courses as well as PG Courses and Institutions recognized for eligibility. For Post Graduate (MBA)
  1. Graduates of Commerce, Arts, Science, Business Management, Law, Agriculture and Engineering disciplines who have obtained minimum aggregate of 50 percent of marks are eligible to seek admission to MBA Programme.
  2. Interested students are required to look out for advertisements in leading newspapers for PGCET / K-MAT Entrance Test announcements. Any one entrance test of PGCET / K-MAT / CAT / MAT is a must for admission. 50% of the seats will be allocated based on the Karnataka State PGCET scores through Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) counseling.
  3. The remaining 50% of the seats coming under the management quota will be allocated on the basis of the ranking in K-MAT / CAT / MAT / PGCET. The undergraduate aggregate score will also be considered for merit.
  4. Application and prospectus can be obtained in person or through post by sending a DD for Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of
    ‘The Principal – BNMIT’    , payable at Bangalore.
