SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT), Bangalore was started
in the year 2001 and has been managed by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust.
The institute is one of the renowned colleges for technical education in
Bangalore city of Karnataka.
The college was incepted by Jagadguru Sri Balagangadharanatha
Swamiji, the President of Sri Adichunchanagiri Trust. The institute is approved
by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, for conducting
courses in various branches of engineering. The college is associated to Visvesvaraya
Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT), Bangalore plans to
maintain high standards in the education instruct by it. For the purpose, it
provides state-of-the-art facilities to its students, within its campus that is
spread over 50 acres of land. Apart from training the young engineering at
undergraduate level, the institute also provides them knowledge in higher
levels of education – post graduation and PhD. The National Board of
Accreditation (NBA) certified college also offers placement cell.
