Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Bangalore was set

Master of Technology (M. Tech):
Master of Technology Engineering degree is a postgraduate
program in engineering or technology field. Master of Technology (M.Tech ) is a
specialization course where a candidate focuses on a sub domain or a sub field
of the engineering graduation course completed in Bachelor’s program. With a
M.Tech post graduation degree you can expect a faster growth in industry both
post wise and salary wise compared to only Bachelor’s graduates.
M.Tech program is to train the students in high level
theoretical knowledge which enables them to tackle practical complex problems
of design and development in the industrial field as well as pursue further
academic achievement through research. Enough flexibility is provided in the
structure of the program in respect of lecture courses and project work to help
the students to achieve the above mentioned aim.
Course Description:
College offers years Master of Technology (M.Tech) program
for the students. The program of the college is approved by All India Council
for technical education (AICTE). The two years program offers makes student
effective in applying knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering in
their various projects & researches.

Eligibility:
Admission to M.Tech course shall be open for the candidates
who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e,
integer 50% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in
the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case
of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and category I, the aggregate
percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less
than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding - off aggregate percent is
not permitted)
