Computer Applications in Industrial Drives uses computer interfaces to make efficient and environmental friendly application. As the modern control system applications are totally interfaced with the industrial drives, hence the man machine interface is an important role in these applications.

As most of the heavy applications like the conveyor belts, the cranes, the overload and under load effective handling of the weights and loads done by the industrial control using the computer applications, which can perform most of the tasks with minimum time delay efficiently.

M.Tech Computer Applications in Industrial Drives will teach unique technical solution for the several industrial application problems, hence is the one creating millions of jobs for the computer savvy.

Course Description:

The Course of M.Tech in Computer Applications in Industrial Drives is also offered and the department is also running VTU part time M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering.

The V.T.U has recognized the department as a research center for carrying out research work leading to M.Sc. Engineering & Ph.D degrees. The department has highly qualified faculty. The department has developed a good rapport with the IT industry.

Eligibility-

Candidates must have passed B.Tech/B.E from a recognized board in respective field

Duration- 2 Years, Full Time, Post Graduate Degree

Eligibility for Admission

Admission to the Master of Technology Course shall be open to all the candidates who have passed B.E. / B.Tech. Examinations (in relevant field) of VTU or any other University / Institution or equivalent examination recognized by the University.
Admission to M.Tech. Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.

All 3 year marks statement of Bachelor’s degree
Provisional degree certificate from the college last attended or degree certificate from the University

Passport size and 1 stamp size colour photographs.

Further, the students so admitted in our Institution should invariably possess at least five sets of xerox copies of all the documents mentioned above along with 10 passport and 10 stamp size colour photographs. (Three sets of Xerox copies has to be produced at the time of admission)
The students belonging to SC/ST and other categories should submit xerox copies of caste certificate, income certificate while applying for students scholarships.
