East West Institute
of Technology (EWIT), Bangalore came into existence in the year 2001, in
the garden city of Bangalore.
East West Group of
Institutions started under the banner of Subramanya Educational Society started
nearly four decades ago.
This Society and its Group of Institutions are the dream
projects of its Founder Chairman Late. Sri C.M.Nagaraj.
A visionary, an acknowledged educationist, a philanthropist,
a social worker and an elected prominent corporate of long standing. It is in
fitness of his abilities and achievements that he was elected as the worshipful
Mayor of Bangalore city for the year 2002-2003.
The institute is located off Magadi Road just 10km from the
city centre. It is well connected with public/private transport facilities. The
lush green vast campus of 20 acres, amidst sylvan surroundings and away from
the maddening city hustle and bustle, tastefully landscaped with award winning
gardens is decked with well governing council and aesthetically designed
buildings that house spacious lecture halls, laboratories, workshops and
library.
