SJB Institute of
Technology was created in 2001 by his holiness jagadguru Sri Sri Sri
Balagangadharanatha Swamiji, the president of Sri Adichunchanagiri trust. The
trust believes in a special responsibility in giving education comprising three
components - intellectual, spiritual & physical needs of students.
The college is approved by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE)-New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University
(VTU)- Belgaum.
With this vision, the trust has started 475 educational
units across the country, benefiting more than 85,000 students. Spread across
50.0 acre.

Admission Details:
Admission to BE, a minimum of 45 % marks aggregate in
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the PUC Examination of Karnataka or its
Equivalent Examination is a must. In case of SC/ST candidates, this percentage
is fixed at 40%. Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the BE Courses. They
must hold a valid student VISA.
