B.E stands for Bachelor of Engineering and B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology, both are an engineering degree and both are equivalent to each other. The only difference is some university like Vihshveshvaraya Technological University(VTU) in karnataka offers B.E degree and like Uttar Pradesh Technical University(UPTU), all IIT's offers B.Tech degree. BE/B.tech both degrees are four years course. There are number of engineering colleges(private and govt) in India affiliated by various university in various states who offers B.E/B.Tech degree. Admission procedure for BE/B.Tech course is usually through entrance exams like(AIEEE, MHTCET,COMEDK,UPTU,BCCE, IIT JEE) but some private college offers admission through management Quota/ NRI Quota also.
